How Much Does a Bathroom Remodel Cost in Cache Valley?

Bathrooms cost more per square foot than any other room, which surprises people every time. A 40 square foot bathroom can carry more plumbing, tile, and waterproofing labor than a 200 square foot bedroom carries in total.

These are ranges, not quotes — a real number comes from walking your house and writing the scope.

Typical Range
$20,000 – $60,000+

Most projects land between $30,000 – $40,000

Typical timeline: 3 – 6 weeks  ·  Scope assumed: Full remodel, to the studs

Questions We Get About Price

Labor and layers. A one-piece unit is a day for two people. A tiled shower is a sloped pan, a waterproofing membrane, a flood test, layout, setting, grouting, and sealing — spread across a week or more of skilled work, plus $3,000 to $6,000 in glass afterward.

Usually yes. You save on mobilization, on the plumber and tile setter making one trip instead of two, and often on material minimums. Figure 10 to 15 percent less than doing them a year apart — as long as you have a third bathroom to use.

Typically $6,700 to $12,500. No shower means no waterproofing and no glass, so it is the least expensive bathroom you can do. It is also where people put the fun wallpaper.

On a bathroom we recommend 10 percent, and 15 percent on a house built before 1990. Behind-the-wall problems in bathrooms are common enough that we plan for them rather than pretending they will not happen.
