Most Contractors Will Not Publish Prices. We Will.
Most contractors will not put a number on a web page. The reasoning is always the same — every project is different, so any figure would be misleading. The first half of that is true. The second half is a dodge.
Every project being different does not mean nobody can tell you whether a kitchen is a $40,000 conversation or a $90,000 one. It just means the answer is a range rather than a price. We would rather give you the range now than make you sit through two meetings to get it.
What follows is every range we publish, how we get from a range to your actual number, and what is not included. If your budget and the project do not line up, you will be able to work that out in about a minute without speaking to anybody.

From A Range To Your Actual Price
A range is a starting point, not a quote. Here is how we get from one to the other, and what it costs you at each stage.
A phone call — free
One call. What room, roughly what budget, roughly when. At the end of it we tell you whether the numbers add up and whether we are the right company. If we are not, we say so.
A walkthrough — $500
We come out, look at the space, and talk through what is possible. You get a realistic range for your specific house, not a range off a web page.
Pre-construction design — paid
For larger projects. Real drawings, real selections, subcontractors pricing actual scope. It produces a detailed written scope and a firm price, and the fee credits toward your project if you build with us.
A firm price
One number, with the scope broken out line by line so you can see exactly what is included. Not a line-item price list — a line-item scope with a single price against it.
Questions About Pricing
Because the alternative wastes everybody’s time. If your budget is $30,000 and a kitchen starts at $20,000 in this market, you should be able to find that out in ten seconds rather than after three contractor visits. It also filters out the people we cannot help, which is better for them and for us.
The first call is free. The on-site consultation is $500. For larger projects we also charge for a pre-construction design phase that produces real plans and a firm price, and that fee credits toward your project if you build with us. A number pulled out of a one-hour visit is a guess, and guesses turn into change orders.
Usually not, and we would rather say that here than have you find out after two meetings. What we are is specific about what is included, which is exactly why our number sometimes reads higher than one that quietly leaves out permits, electrical upgrades, or the drywall behind the tile.
Because the words cover genuinely different projects. “Kitchen remodel” means both a same-footprint refresh and a wall removed with custom cabinetry. The tiers on each cost page split that up so you can find which one you are actually describing.
Appliances are the main one — we install them, you choose and buy them. Beyond that, each cost page lists what sits outside its range for that project type. If something is not in our number we will tell you before you sign, not after.
Only through change orders, and only with your approval in writing first, and every change order carries a flat $250 fee. If we open a wall and find something, you hear about it the same day with a price and options. Nothing gets done and billed after the fact.
